The Urban Hikes
For those times that I'm not able to get out of the City for a backcountry hike, it's necessary to resort to urban hiking. Although these are sometimes as long as a "real" hike, they generally lack the elevation gain to be a serious hike. Since I've become something of a trail snob lately, I don't consider these outings real hikes but I count the mileage and elevation gain in my annual totals.
