Amabalis Mountain
| JANUARY 4, 2009 Eleven Mountaineers went to Amabalis
Mountain for a joint snowshoe/cross country ski tour. Our group
was about evenly split, with 6 skiers and 5 snowshoers. We
stopped for lunch short of the summit out of respect for a storm system
that moved into the area, but
we had a nice overlook of the valley and shared decadent
chocolate and mulled wine with our lunch.
