Kachess Lake
| MARCH 9, 2008 - The unplowed road along
the shores of Kachess Lake is groomed and is a great place to ski,
snowshoe, and snowmobile. We got a late start on this trip
due to the "Spring Forward" time change, but we enjoyed the little time
we had in the woods. Birds were singing and the weather was a balmy 48º. There were lots of snowmobiles on the
trail, so we found a quiet spot in the woods beside Thetis Creek for
lunch, then headed back to the trailhead and home.
