Gold Creek Basin
| JANUARY 17, 2009 It was cold in the city and the air
quality had been bad for a week when a friend and I decided to go on
this easy snowshoe around the Gold Creek Basin. The basin has
looked different each time I've been here, and on this day the sky was
overcast and thick frost coated the trees.
